U.S. Frigates

U.S. Frigates

During the Revolution, we built fifteen frigates, and almost all ended badly. The silver lining is that some of those that were captured were taken to England, and the lines were "taken off'. It is for that reason that we can make authentic models of the Hancock, Raleigh, and Confederacy. For the record, this is what happened to those frigates, those magnificent vessels.
